1. Open the image. For the purpose of this tutorial, we are using this image: |

2. Add a new layer and call it "glass". Load the Glass Globe © tube (click to download). Now, you are working in the glass layer. Whatever you do now apply to the glass only. Then you can change the color of the glass with Color/Colorize!! Or you can adjust the brightness of the glass to match with your own image (Colors/Adjust/Brightness). Also, you can deform the glass to adjust it to your image. Click the Deformation Tool and adjust your globe to the desire part of the image. Finally, click on Apply of the Control Pallete: |
![]() 3. Click with the Magic Wand outside the glass in the canvas. Selections/Invert, to select the globe. Selections/Modify/Contract/2. The best thing to get a fine globe is to select it with selection tool with antialias checked. While marching ants, click the mover tool and right click to set the selection with your globe. Now, Layers/Merge/Visible (to merge the glass with the part of the image you chose): |

4. Copy and Paste as a new image. |

5. Increase the size of the canvas (Image/Canvas Size). Add a new layer and call it "Base". If you want to use your favorite base tube, use the same steps of the past Snowglobe Tutorial, Part II. But now, we are going to learn how to use your favorite dingbats as bases. Here you will find a lot of dingbat fonts. I recommend Fleurons and Printer Ornaments. For this tutorial we need Dividers 3 (click to go to the site and download): 6. Click the "A" of the Tool Palette. Choose Dividers 3 and write the letter "i". Choose white and continue with the following settings (similar to PSP 6.02): |

7. Click the Deformation Tool to adjust the base to the globe. Colorize with Blade Pro or using my new Virtual Jewels Tutorial (you don't need Blade Pro!): |

8. Decorate your base as desired. Layers/Merge/Visible. Get rid of undesired canvas: copy and paste as new image: |

9. We are ready for the animation!! Make your 3 copies (Shift + D three times). Put the particles in your globes. Save your images as .psp, then open Animation Shop and click the wizard icon (the first one on the upper corner. Use the following settings: a. Same size as the first frame |
