1. Download and open the special egg shape. This is a psp file. Open also the image that goes in the shape. I suggest to scan your favorite wrap paper or use a flower background.![]() 2. Choose the magic wand and click in the canvas. ![]() 3. Selection, invert, now you see the "marching ants" around the egg. 4. Click the header of the other image to activate it. Edit and copy. ![]() 5. Go again to the egg shape, click the header to activate it, edit, paste into selection: ![]() 6. Selection, invert, Image, Effects, Drop Shadow, use these settings: Color: black, Opacity: 65, Blur: 40, V: 20, H: 20Remember, this is only a guide! Adjust the shadow to your own image! I'm using here, as example, a dark image. If yours is light, you must adjust the opacity! 7. Selections, none. 8. This step is also optional and works great with dark images. If yours is light, you can omit this step: Layers, New Raster Layer, have white at the foreground, choose the preset shape tool, antialias checked, vector unchecked, draw an ellipse in the middle of your egg. ![]() 10. Layers, merge visible. 11. Image, canvas size, increase. 12. Add a new raster layer and put in it your favorite base! You can use tubes or dingbat fonts to create the base. Then colorize it with Blade Pro or click here to create metallics without Blade Pro. 13. Layer, merge visible. Decorate your egg the way you want, have fun!
